FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Mike Felt scored 14 points and made four 3-pointers off the bench Thursday night to help North Dakota State dismantle UMKC 71-34.
Kory Brown and Marshall Bjorklund added 12 points apiece for the Bison (17-5, 8-2 Summit League). Bjorklund, whose 71.7 percent field-goal shooting entering the game was tops in Division I, was 6 of 9 from the field.
Trinity Hall had nine points to lead the Kangaroos (6-17, 3-7), who shot just 26 percent from the field. The 34 points were UMKC's fewest ever in a Summit League game and matched the fewest NDSU has allowed in the modern era; the Bison held Jamestown College to 34 points in the 2005-06 season.
The Bison, coming off tough losses to conference co-leaders Western Illinois and South Dakota State, led 28-12 at halftime and by as many as 40 in the second half. NDSU scored 30 points off 18 UMKC turnovers.
