FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Lindsey Hughey hit a go-ahead layup with 1:12 left, then drilled a crucial 3-pointer in the final seconds as Weber State held off Northern Arizona 68-67 on Saturday night.

Hughey scored 12 points, all in the second half, to help the Wildcats (7-7, 1-2 Big Sky) avoid their worst conference start in five years.

Kyle Bullinger had 18 points to lead Weber State, which has beaten the Lumberjacks (9-7, 1-3) five straight times.

Cameron Jones scored 26 points for Northern Arizona, which took a 64-63 lead on Shane Johannsen's layup with 1:56 left.

Hughey then drove the lane and scooped in the game-winning shot. He hit an off-balance 3 as the shot clock expired to put the Wildcats up 68-64 with 9 seconds to go.

Jones pulled Northern Arizona to within a point with a long 3, but time ran out on the Lumberjacks.
