Tournament: U.S. Open
Date: June 12-15, 2014
Venue: Pinehurst, Course No. 2
Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
2013 Winner: Justin Rose

The second golf major of the season takes place in June as the top ball strikers will square off in the 2014 United States Open. This year’s event takes place from Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.

Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.ag made Rory McIlroy the top betting choice in April. He's been listed as a 10/1 choice (Bet $100 to win $1,000). McIlroy won the event in 2011 from Congressional Country Club in Maryland and it should be noted that International players have captured three of the last four U.S. Opens.

Tiger Woods withdrew from the U.S. Open on Wednesday May 28 as he continues to recover from back surgery that has kept him out of competition for the past few months.
