2026-27 NFC Futures Odds: Rams the Favorite at Midsummer

NFC championship futures odds for 2026-27 are getting interest as summer heads toward football season.

2027 NFC Championship Futures Odds

West Coast Best Coast

LATEST UPDATE: In last season's NFC Championship Game, the Seattle Seahawks edged the Los Angeles Rams 31-27. Subsequently, BetMGM installed Seattle as the +400 favorite in NFC futures odds for 2026-27, with L.A. right behind at +450.

However, the Rams made one of the bigger offseason moves when, on June 1, they acquired sack master Myles Garrett in a trade with Cleveland. Los Angeles has been the favorite ever since, and as of July 21, the Rams are +300, with the Seahawks at +550.

Then come four teams bunched together in BetMGM's NFC championship futures:

All those odds represent modest moves from the opening numbers. One of the larger moves – although not huge – has come from the Dallas Cowboys. BetMGM opened Dallas at +1700 and is now at +1200, the seventh choice.

BetMGM also took a notable wager on the Cowboys in NFC Championship odds. A customer put $10,0000 on Dallas +1600, for a potential profit of $160,000.

Tickets and Money

Last year, the Chicago Bears went on an 11-2 stretch at one point and ultimately finished the regular season at 11-6. Then the Bears mounted a huge comeback from a 21-3 deficit to beat the Packers in an NFC Wild Card matchup.

Chicago followed by nearly upsetting the Rams in the NFC Divisional Round. The Bears miraculously forced overtime on a Caleb Wilson-Cole Kmet connection in the waning seconds of regulation, but lost 20-17.

Still, bettors have since been taken in by the Bears, who are No. 1 in tickets and money in BetMGM's futures odds market. Chicago opened +1400 and is now the +1300 eighth choice.

More surprisingly, the New York Giants are third in ticket count/seventh in money. In the process, the G-Men nudged from a +4000 opener to +3500.

The top five in ticket count in BetMGM's 2026-27 NFC futures odds:

  • Bears
  • Lions
  • Giants
  • Rams
  • 49ers

And the top five in money in BetMGM's 2027 NFC futures:

  • Bears
  • Cowboys
  • Rams
  • Eagles
  • 49ers

As of July 21, the Arizona Cardinals are BetMGM's largest liability. But that's mostly a function of long-shot odds of +20000 (200/1), after opening at +10000 (100/1).

The Cards are 14th in tickets and money.
