2026 NFL Win Totals and Odds
Crowded at the Top
LATEST UPDATE: BetMGM's NFL season win totals have been up for a few months now. No team opened at more than 10.5 wins, and as noted above, only two teams have reached 11.5 thus far, as of Sept. 2.
The Los Angeles Rams opened at 10.5 (Over -140) and are at 11.5, with the Over actually favored at -140. Los Angeles got a boost in part from the addition of sack master Myles Garrett, who's also helped enhance the Rams' Super Bowl odds.
Then in late August, defensive tackle Aaron Donald came out of retirement to rejoin the Rams.
The Baltimore Ravens opened at 10.5 (Over -130) and are now at 11.5 (Under -155).
Among a handful of teams at 10.5, the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions are most expected to exceed that total. The Bills and Lions are both at 10.5 (Over -130) at 10.5 (Over -130), and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are at 10.5 (Over -125).
The Philadelphia Eagles are at 10.5 (Under -135), followed by the San Francisco 49ers at 10.5 (Under -140).
The Kansas City Chiefs round at teams at 10.5, with the Under a -145 favorite. K.C. is hoping Patrick Mahomes returns to full form after suffering season-ending knee injuries late last season.

Who's Up, Who's Down
LATEST UPDATE: By ticket count at BetMGM, the Cleveland Browns are the most-bet team in NFL season win totals, followed by the Denver Broncos and New York Giants. And two of those three teams lead the way in Over play.
The top three Over bets by ticket count in NFL season win totals:
- Broncos 9.5
- Giants 7.5
- Minnesota Vikings 8.5
The top three in Over money:
- Vikings 8.5
- Broncos 9.5
- Las Vegas Raiders 5.5
For a period of time, Las Vegas moved up a game from Over play, going from 5.5 (Under -145) to 6.5 (Under -150). The Raiders are now at 5.5 (Over -135).
BetMGM's top three in Under tickets for NFL win totals:
- Browns 6.5
- Miami Dolphins 4.5
- Carolina Panthers 6.5
And the top three in Under money:
- Dolphins 4.5
- Browns 6.5
- Arizona Cardinals 4.5
As noted above, the Ravens and Rams have both improved by one game. So too have the Dallas Cowboys, going from 8.5 (Over -135) to 9.5 flat, as of Sept. 2.
No other team has moved up, but a few have slid backward, including what's expected to be a dismal Arizona outfit. The Cards opened at 4.5 (Under -115) and as of Sept. 2 are at 3.5 (Over -155). Similarly, Miami dipped from 4.5 flat to 3.5 (Over -135).
The Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers both dropped from the 10.5 ranks. Green Bay opened at 10.5 (Under -120) and is now 9.5 (Over -130), while L.A. went from 10.5 (Under -135) to 9.5 (Over -140).
Also dropping a game are the Indianapolis Colts, from 8.5 (Under -125) to 7.5 (Over -145), and the Browns, from 6.5 (Under -125) to 5.5 (Over -125).
Liability Leaders
As for liabilities, BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini pointed to a few due to Over action, and a couple due to Under play. The largest liabilities all stem from Over bets/money:
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Broncos
- Vikings
- Raiders
Cincinnati opened at 9.5, with -110 juice on both sides. The Bengals actually spent time at 10.5 (Under -140), but as of Sept. 2 are 9.5 (Over -160). Denver saw a nominal price adjustment, from 9.5 (Over -115) to 9.5 (Over -125).
Minnesota hit the NFL season win totals board at 8.5 (Under -135). But Over action has moved the juice to Over -125. Las Vegas has jumped up a game, from 5.5 (Under -145) to 6.5 (Under -150), but is now at 5.5 (Over -135).
On the flip side, BetMGM has two notable Under liabilities, and they're not surprising:
- Dolphins
- Cardinals
As noted above, Arizona dropped a game, from 4.5 (Under -115) to 3.5 (Over -155). Similarly, Miami went from 4.5 flat (-110 both sides) to 3.5 (Over -135).
How to Read the NFL Win Totals Odds Market
Win Totals are popular and also simple to understand. Oddsmakers set a number prior to the start of the regular season for every team, and bettors can wager on Over or Under for the projections.
Example
Arizona Cardinals Win Total: 3.5
Arizona Cardinals Record: 4-13 (Over)
Arizona Cardinals Record: 3-14 (Under)
In the above example, bettors taking the Over on the Arizona Cardinals would need the team to finish with at least four victories. For Under bettors, the Cardinals would have to finish 3-14 or worse for the regular season.
Bettors should note that most operators do not pay out these futures wagers until the end of the regular season, when the 17-game schedule is complete. And of course, these wagers do not include postseason victories.

No, NFL win totals only include the regular season.
What Are Total Wins In The NFL?
Total wins refers to the amount of regular season games a team wins. This total does not include the postseason, or bowl games. If you bet under a win total and the team wins less than the posted total, you win! If you bet over a teams win total and they win more than their posted number, you win!
