Odds to win 2015 Masters

The 2014 golf majors are in the books as Rory McIlroy captured two of the four events by winning the British Open and PGA Championship. McIlroy captured both of these events as the betting favorite and now has four career major victories on his resume.

The next golf major takes place in April of 2015 when the world’s top ball strikers square off at Augusta National for the Masters.

Bettors started placing early wagers on this event at, a major offshore sportsbook, in mid-August.

To no surprise, McIlroy opened as a healthy 6/1 betting choice (Bet $100 to win $600) to capture the 2015 Masters.

Last year’s winner, Bubba Watson, has been installed as a 25/1 choice.

After close to two months of action, oddsmakers have made adjustments.

Watson is now an 18/1 choice. Jason Day, winner of the 2015 Farmers Insurance Open, has dropped from 25/1 to 18/1. Another young player, Jordan Spieth, saw his odds drop from 25/1 to 15/1.

Tiger Woods, has been bumped in the opposite direction from 15/1 to 18/1.
