Oddsmakers at are preparing for the second major of the golf season, which is the 2018 U.S. Open.

This year's championship will take place at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club from Southampton, New York on Long Island.

The event is scheduled from Thursday June 14 through Sunday June 17.

This will be the fifth time that the U.S. Open is being played at Shinnecock, with the last event taking place in 2004 when Retief Goosen defeated Phil Mickelson by two strokes.
