Hilton super contest:
The super contest contestants for the most part are coming off a very rough week. Heading into Week 11, Peter and Paul still hold a slight half-game lead with several contestants right behind. Below is a look at the top consensus picks this week.
The New York Giants as a 3 ˝-point road underdog over the Philadelphia Eagles is the top choice this week. The Giants are off a home beating by the Falcons, while Philadelphia is off a big Monday Night win in Green Bay. We had 102 players pick the Giants.
The home underdogs have been coming in as of late, and the home-dog Cincinnati Bengals are the second best play of the week. Cincinnati faces the high-octane Kansas City Chiefs as a 6 ˝-point underdog. The Bengals are off a home win against Houston, while the Chiefs pounded the Browns in Kansas City. We had 88 contestants siding with Cincinnati.
In the coaching battle of the year, we have 84 contestants on Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots over Bill Parcells and the Dallas Cowboys. The Patriots are a four-point home ‘chalk’ versus the Cowboys on Sunday Night football. Both teams are overachieving this season, and both coaches should be up for Coach of the Year. Note that 61 players were on the Cowboys.
Jacksonville is somewhat of a surprise as the fourth selection. The road underdog Jaguars are getting 10 ˝ points against the Tennessee Titans. We had 82 players on the Jaguars, who are off a big home win versus the Colts. Tennessee is off a home win against Miami.
The Gamblers Challenge:
This Station Casino contest has some of the same players, and it shows. Here is a look at the top four picks from contestants.
The New York Giants as a 3 ˝-point road underdog over the Philadelphia Eagles are this week’s top choice here as well. We had 38 players backing the Giants with a field goal and the hook.
The home ‘dog Cincinnati Bengals getting 6 ˝ points against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs are tied in this contest for the second best play. Thirty-five people sided with the Bengals.
The Monday Night contest pits San Francisco as a three-point home ‘chalk’ over the Pittsburgh Steelers. There were 35 contests picking the 49ers, who are coming off a bye week.
New England was the fourth most popular pick, with 29 players selecting the Patriots as a four-point home favorite over Dallas.
