Recap: Stars , Flames
Date: January 21, 2011 9:00 PM EDT

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Dallas Stars coach Marc Crawford got right to the point.

``We didn't get a very good performance from our goaltender tonight,' Marc Crawford said after Andrew Raycroft struggled in goal in the Stars' 7-4 loss to Calgary on Friday night. ``We know our goalie has been terrific all year and he probably feels worse than anyone else.'

The loss that snapped the Stars' franchise-record road winning streak at eight games.

``They scored on the chances they had and we made a few mistakes that cost us,' stars center Mike Ribeiro said. ``Usually our goalies make some crazy saves that keeps us in the game but today wasn't the case.'

Calgary had only 19 shots on goal.

``It was a different game. A hard game on the goalies with not a lot of shots either way but all of a sudden it would be a point-blank chance,' said Flames captain Iginla, who reached 20 goals for the 12th straight season. ``That's the way it goes sometimes. Some nights you get 40 or 45 shots and a ton of good looks and you come out of it with not very many. Tonight, we were opportunistic.'

Iginla has scored at least 20 goals in 13 of his 14 NHL seasons. He has the NHL's longest current streak of 20-goal seasons and is in position to reach 30 for the 10th straight time. Gordie Howe holds the NHL record for consecutive 20-goal seasons with 22.

Iginla's unassisted goal gave the Flames a 6-4 lead at 4:20 of the third period. He also had an assist.

``I give our guys credit, we battled back and got it to 5-4, but it was one of those games where you couldn't make a mistake and Raycroft, whose been sensational this year, had a tough night,' Crawford said.

David Moss had two goals and an assist, Mikael Backlund, Brendan Morrison, Alex Tanguay and Olli Jokinen also scored and backup goalie Henrik Karlsson made 17 saves for Calgary, two nights after starter Miikka Kiprusoff was booed by the home fans in a 6-0 loss to Minnesota.

``We got pucks to the net and were fortunate to get a few bounces,' Moss said. ``We needed more bodies at the net and we certainly did that tonight and were rewarded.'

Karlsson won for the first time at home.

``It's about time, this a fun moment for me,' said Karlsson, 4-3-4 in his first NHL season. ``Sometimes I've lost when I let in one goal, so this is better than losing 2-1. Tonight, our forwards were really good and scored a lot of goals and made it easier for me to play.'

The Flames, 14th in the Western Conference, are 7-3-3 in their last 13 to move within six points of Chicago and Colorado, tied for seventh. The top eight will qualify for the playoffs.

Nicklas Grossman ended a 129-game goal drought and Brenden Morrow, Brad Richards, Nicklas Grossman and James Neal also scored for Dallas, a 4-2 winner in Edmonton on Thursday night. The Pacific Division-leading Stars dropped to 7-1-1 in January.

Ribeiro had three assists to extend his points streak to 11 games, the longest active run in the NHL.

NOTES: Moss has 10 goals this season, six in the last nine games. ... Dallas LW Loui Eriksson (flu) did not play, missing a game for the first time since the 2007-08 season. ... Dallas D Matt Niskanen (hand) returned after missing six games. ... Calgary RW Tom Kostopoulos served the final game of his six-game suspension for a head shot on Detroit defenseman Brad Stuart.
