Recap: Wild , Red Wings
Date: November 01, 2011 7:30 PM EDT

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Red Wings can't win games and are having a real problem scoring goals.

Devin Setoguchi's power-play goal 1:33 into overtime gave the Minnesota Wild a 2-1 comeback win over the Detroit on Tuesday night.

It was Detroit's fifth consecutive loss in which they've only scored five goals. Minnesota beat the Red Wings 1-0 in Minnesota on Saturday night.

``We've been struggling as of late, scoring goals, and getting pucks in. You have to continue to shot the puck and get chances that way, ``Red Wings' captain Nicklas Lidstrom said. ``The effort has to come from us. You have to keep shooting the puck, and that has been the case.'

Mikko Koivu had a goal and an assist for the Wild and Josh Harding stopped 36 shots. He was also in goal and made that many saves in shutting out Detroit on Saturday night. His last four games have been against the Red Wings.

Harding has played in all three games between the two teams this season, which has been his only action, and his previous game was against Detroit during the 2009-10 season before he missed the rest of that season and all of 2010-11 because of injuries.

``They're one of the best teams in the league. (But) It's about us and what we're going to do. Stick to our game,' Harding said.

Lidstrom got the Red Wings' goal and Jimmy Howard made 25 saves.

``I think it's fine (but) I could be totally wrong. We think we got a good team but the bottom line is we got to play like we got a good team and you got to play for 60 minutes,' Detroit coach Mike Babcock said. ``We got off to a real good start, played well, you got to give Harding a lot of credit, he's played well against us, stood on his head. You got to stay with it, find ways to win games.'

Setoguchi put in a rebound with Johan Franzen in the penalty box for goaltender interference. Koivu directed the puck at the net from near the inside edge of the right circle.

``I was in front, he made the pass and I put it in,' said Setoguchi, who got his fourth goal. While with San Jose last season, Setoguchi's beat Detroit with an overtime goal in Game 3 of a second round Stanley Cup Playoff series at Joe Louis Arena. That goal also completed a hat trick.

The Red Wings though Setoguchi should have been called for a penalty as he gained possession of the puck in the right corner. He appeared to throw a shoulder into the jaw of Detroit defenseman Niklas Kronwall, which knocked Kronwall to the ice and made it 4-on-2 in front of Howard.

Kronwall had to be helped off the ice and Babcock said he would be re-evaluated on Wednesday. Kronwall signed a seven-year, $33.25 million contract on Tuesday.

``I think it's a penalty, especially since we've seen it called against us on a few different occasions with (Todd) Bertuzzi doing pretty much the same thing,' Lidstrom said. ``We've been getting that call against us, and we didn't get that call tonight.'

Koivu tied the game at 1 with a minute left when he tipped in Justin Falk's shot from the point with Harding pulled for the extra attacker. It was Koivu's first goal.

Minnesota coach Mike Yeo praised Koivu.

``He was an absolute force. He was a beast out there,' Yeo said.

Lidstrom opened the scoring 6 minutes into the game when he tipped in a pass from the inside edge of the right circle for his third goal. It came a second after Minnesota's Marek Zidlickey's tripping penalty ended.

Notes: Detroit C Gustav Nyquist made his NHL debut after being recalled from Grand Rapids of the AHL. ... Forward Jiri Hudler was a healthy scratch for the Red Wings. ... Harding had to be tended to by the Minnesota trainer 4:44 into the third period after he was knocked down behind the net by Detroit's Drew Miller, who received a charging penalty.
