Nashville signs Klein to 2-year deal
July 16, 2008
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Nashville Predators signed defenseman Kevin Klein to a two-year, $1.3 million contract on Wednesday.
Klein, 23, was the team's third-round pick, 37th overall, in the 2003 entry draft. He played 18 career NHL games with the Predators, including 13 this season.
He had two assists and six penalty minutes. He is expected to play more in the upcoming season because Nashville traded away defenseman Marek Zidlicky.
