The Heisman Trophy is awarded to the top College Football player in the country every December in New York City, New York.
The 2023 Heisman Trophy was awarded to LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels. Prior to the season, Daniels was listed as high as a +1500 betting choice (Bet $100 to win $1,500) to capture the award.
The signal caller received an eye-opening 503 first-place votes and 2,029 points to win the award as Daniels threw for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns while rushing for another 1,134 yards and 10 touchdowns. His 50 total touchdowns placed him fourth all-time among Heisman-winning quarterbacks.
LSU now has three players to win Heisman Trophy with Daniels joining Billy Cannon (1959) and Joe Burrow (2019).
