Team Betting Notes
-- Saskatchewan (5-0) continues to have a smooth ride, as the Roughriders pelted Hamilton (1-4). The teams were meeting for a second straight week, and the Ti-Cats were a little more competitive after getting their doors blown off 37-0 last weekend. However, Hamilton is now 0-5 ATS, the only CFL which has failed to cover even once. Conversely, Saskatchewan is 5-0 ATS, and the only team which has covered in each of its games.
-- Montreal (2-3) picked up a much needed victory Thursday, bowing their backs on defense for a goal-line stand against visiting Edmonton (1-4). For the second straight week, the Alouettes were involved in an 'over' result.
-- Calgary (4-1) bombed Winnipeg (1-4) by a 37-24 score, easily covering on the road. The Stamps have now rattled off three consecutive covers, and the 'over' has cashed in four of their five outings.
-- Toronto (3-2) blitzed British Columbia (3-2) as a seven-point home underdog, 38-12. Zach Collaros got the start at quarterback for the Argonauts since Ricky Ray (knee) was injured.Toronto scored 17 points in the final quarter, which helped the game go 'over' the closing total of 49.
-- Through Saturday's games, each of the winning teams scored in the 30's, and the losing team scored in the 20's. In other words, all but the Edmonton-Montreal game were more than one-score differences.
