Each week until March Madness we'll take a look at how the Top 25 fared from college basketball, but straight up and against the number, while also taking a look at their upcoming schedule.

Villanova (14-1 SU, 10-5 ATS) appears poised and ready to re-take the top spot in the rankings after both Duke (13-2 SU, 8-5 ATS) and Michigan State (15-2 SU, 11-6 ATS) suffered losses this past week. The Wildcats also ride into the new week with seven consecutive 'over' results, if you like to play totals.

The setback for the Blue Devils came on the road against North Carolina State (11-5 SU, 4-5 ATS), a team that has been a major thorn in the side of Duke in recent seasons. While Duke has been rather shaky against the number lately, total bettors continue to hammer sides for the Blue Devils. The 'over' is an impressive 12-1 through 13 games with a total so far this season. Oklahona (12-2 SU, 6-7 ATS) is another team in the Top 25 that doesn't light the world on fire against the number, but has hit the 'over' in 11 of their 13 games.

Texas A&M (11-4 SU, 5-7 ATS) is about to tumble down the rankings, and if they continue to slide they might fall out altogether.  The Aggies are on a three-game slide, and they currently sit in the basement of the SEC at 0-3 in conference. They're also a dismal 1-5 ATS over the past six games, including 0-3 ATS during their losing streak. The Aggies have had an offensive power outage lately, posting just 63.7 PPG over the past three outings, which is 14.3 points per game fewer than their season average. It won't get any easier with Kentucky (12-3 SU, 7-8 ATS) on the upcoming slate this week, followed by another Top 25 matchup against Tennessee (10-4 SU, 7-5 ATS).

West Virginia (14-1 SU, 6-5 ATS) is about to scoot up the rankings after failing to suffer from the upset bug. They have a tough slate this week, however, as they put their season-best 3-0 ATS streak on the line against Baylor (11-4 SU, 4-4 ATS) at home and Texas Tech (14-1 SU, 8-3 ATS) on the road. Every game this season is going to be tough in the Big 12, as that conference leads the country with three teams in the Top 10, and five teams in the Top 20.

Virginia (14-1 SU, 9-3 ATS) successfully avoided any pitfalls this past week and is also sure to ascend in the rankings. The Cavaliers might not be the prettiest or flashiest team in the nation, but they're an impressive 9-3 ATS overall. The 'under' is also 9-3 for the Hoos, as they continue to play a great brand of defense. In fact, the Cavaliers rank No. 1 in the country in points per game allowed at just 52.5, and they're second in the nation with a 35.9 field-goal percentage against.

Clemson (14-1 SU, 8-4 ATS) is on a roll, trying to make everyone feel better about the transition from football to basketball season. Littlejohn Arena is becoming a difficult place to play, as the Tigers are an impressive 9-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in the upstate. The 'over' has hit in their past two gawmes, as they have averaged 74.0 PPG after a 5-0 'under' run from Dec. 9-30. If you like to sweat out under plays, another school that made football history this season is doing it on the hardwood, too. UCF (12-4 SU, 9-2 ATS) isn't ranked, but they have an impressive ATS record while the 'under' is an impressive 1-10. Another unranked team, Duquesne (12-4 SU, 5-3 ATS) has been a favorite of 'under' bettors at 1-7 this season.
