-- The lowest seed to ever claim the Big Ten Tournament was No. 8 seed, which happened in 2017 when Michigan defeated Wisconsin 71-56.

-- Michigan (2) or Michigan State (3) have won five of the past eight Big Ten Championship games.

-- Despite the most championships, the Spartans have only managed to win back-to-back titles once. That occurred over 20 years ago in 1999 and 2000.
