ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - Mark Cisco scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Brian Barbour had 16 points to lead Columbia to a 67-58 win over Cornell on Saturday.
Steve Frankoski finished with 13 points for the Lions (9-6, 1-0 Ivy League), who have won four of their last five games. Grant Mullins had 10 points.
Columbia separated itself from Cornell in the second half, using an 11-0 run that was capped by Cisco's jumper to give the Lions a 55-43 lead with 7:38 left. Cisco, who went 7 of 15 from the floor in the game, scored six points during the spurt.
The Big Red (8-10, 0-1), who had their two-game winning streak snapped, pulled no closer than eight points the rest of way.
Shonn Miller led Cornell with 13 points and three steals before fouling out of the contest. Nolan Cressler had 11 points and Johnathan Gray scored 10.
