LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Troy Gillenwater scored 19 points to lead New Mexico State to a 75-57 victory over Louisiana Tech on Monday night.
Tyrone Watson added 17 points and Hernst Laroche had 13 for the Aggies (13-12, 7-4 Western Athletic Conference).
DeAndre Brown led the Bulldogs (11-14, 2-9) with 18 points and Olu Ashaolu added 10. Louisiana Tech has lost eight straight on the road.
New Mexico State led 39-30 at halftime and quickly extended its advantage to 23 with a 17-3 run in the first 5:44 of the second half. Louisiana Tech didn't get closer than 13 the rest of the way.
The Aggies shot 51.9 percent from the field while the Bulldogs shot 41.5 percent and committed 20 turnovers.
New Mexico State scored the first six points of the game and never trailed.
