2026 WNBA Most Valuable Player Odds

All Aces

LATEST UPDATE: On May 7, a day ahead of the regular-season tipoff, Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson was the +225 favorite in BetMGM's WNBA MVP odds. Last season, Wilson won her second straight MVP award and fourth overall.

She also won the Finals MVP honor, while leading the Aces to their third title in four years. And so far this season, Wilson has the Aces (27-13) at No. 3 in WNBA Finals odds.

Wilson leads the league in scoring at 26 points per game and is third in rebounding at 9.4 per game. And she's averaging a league-leading 2.0 blocked shots per game, as well.

So it should be no surprise that Wilson is also putting some distance on the field in 2026 WNBA MVP futures. In mid-June, Wilson was -190. As of July 28, she was -400 chalk. And on Sept. 10, she's extended all the way to -1400, nearly a lock.

"Wilson is the most-bet-on player [by money] for MVP, by a wide margin. But the short price has kept it to where it is currently a slight winner for us," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said. "Her price has kept people away lately, too. Her best price all year was +250."

Although Wilson is just third in ticket count, she's taken 57.5% of all dollars in WNBA MVP odds at BetMGM. That's five times more than any other player.

Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles is the +900 second choice, improving from the +1400 fourth choice in late July and +1200 in mid-August. Miles is No. 2 in tickets, just behind Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.

Miles is No. 3 in money, but Wilson is seeing six times more cash than the Lynx standout.

Clark, who opened as the +250 second choice but slipped as far as +3500 earlier in August, then rebounded to +2500 in mid-August. However, Clark is now a distant +8000 fourth choice and is fourth in money

Clark is fourth in money, but Wilson has seen seven times more dollars than the Fever guard.

"It's a significant drop-off in Caitlin Clark money, based on the previous two years," Cipollini said.

Dallas Wings standout Paige Bueckers was the +550 second choice in mid-June. In late July, Bueckers was still in the mix at +850. But now she's a a massive +25000 fifth choice, while sitting fourth in tickets and second in money, miles behind Wilson in dollars wagered on.

  • Wilson
  • Bueckers
  • Miles
  • Clark
  • Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell

"We have liability on Bueckers and Miles," Cipollini said. "A'ja Wilson would be fine. But we wouldn't want Miles to get into the race."

Miles is BetMGM's largest liability in this market, after opening as a +12500 long shot. Bueckers is the second-largest liability.

In mid-June, Plum was the +2000 fourth choice. But a leg injury has kept her out since late June, and she's since been taken off the board.

As for Mitchell, she's now got shorter odds than her backcourt mate Clark. Mitchell is the +5000 third choice.
