2025 WNBA MVP Odds: Collier Favored, But Clark Far More Popular

WNBA MVP odds are heating up, with the regular season now heading toward July. Over the past few weeks, a new favorite has stepped forward.
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier overtook Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark in late May. That was in part due to Clark's left quad injury, which took her off the court for two-plus weeks. But Clark is still wildly popular in odds to win the WNBA MVP.

UPDATE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25: When WNBA MVP odds first went on the board at BetMGM, Napheesa Collier was the +650 fourth choice. Reigning MVP A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces was the +200 favorite, followed by Caitlin Clark at +250, then the New York Liberty's Breanna Stewart at +600.
By the time the regular season began, Wilson and Clark swapped places, with Clark the +195 favorite and Wilson still +200. But by May 27, Collier had surged to the -175 chalk, and she stretched out to -285 in mid-June.
Collier is now at -275, followed by Clark at +200. However, Clark remains wildly popular with BetMGM customers, taking 54% of tickets and 60% of money in WNBA MVP odds. That's four times more tickets and three-plus times more money than Collier, who is No. 2 in both counts.
"We want to avoid Caitlin Clark for WNBA MVP, of course. We'd be very happy if Napheesa Collier wins," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said, while noting Clark's popularity hasn't waned. "Clark is the driver of the WNBA. If her name is on it, it's taking bets."
Collier is averaging 24.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for league-leading Minnesota (12-2 through June 24). On the flip side, Indiana is just 7-7, with Clark averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds.
And at this point, it appears it'll only be one of those two winning the ward. The rest of the field has practically dropped off the planet. Stewart is the third choice, but she's out to +4000, and Wilson has plunged to +6600. No other player is shorter than +9000.
