DK's total has been at 58.5 since Monday afternoon, after opening at 60.5 and going to 59.5 Sunday. Still, early action is heavy to the Over, at 72% of bets/90% of money.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Alabama is painted to -8.5 so far in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 8 market.
"It’s been relatively balanced action early on," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Alabama has looked like a potential title contender again, as its runs this gauntlet of a schedule in the SEC.
"It doesn’t get any easier for the Tide this week, as the Vols are their fourth ranked opponent in a row."
Borgata's total nudged from 59.5 to 59.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 6 Alabama (5-1 SU/4-2 ATS) is on a three-game run against Top 20 talent. Coming off wins at Georgia and vs. Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide went to Missouri as 3.5-point favorites and squeaked out a 27-24 victory.
No. 11 Tennessee (5-1 SU/3-3 ATS) got all it could handle from unranked Arkansas in Week 7. The Vols trailed at multiple junctures, but pulled ahead 34-17 by early in the fourth quarter. Tennessee then held on for a 34-31 victory, failing to cash as 10-point home chalk.

- Opening total: Over/Under 59.5 points scored
- Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (NBC)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Notre Dame is 10.5-point home chalk in BetMGM's college football odds Week 8 market. The Fighting Irish opened -7.5 (-115), went to -8.5/-9.5 Monday, then this morning got to -10/-10.5.
"Notre Dame-USC is interesting. It's pretty balanced action both ways, but we're probably better off with USC covering. And USC outright will kill a bunch of parlays," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total is down to 59.5 (Over -115) from a 62.5 opener, with the final 2 points of that decline coming today. Still, Magee said BetMGM needs Under 59.5.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Notre Dame is out to -9.5 in Borgata Sports' Week 8 college football odds, after opening -7.5 Sunday.
"USC played a dominant game against Michigan on Saturday night," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Trojans ran for more yards than any other Michigan opponent all season, and also dramatically cut down on the penalties that have been plaguing them all year.
"Despite that effort, we have seen early money come in on the Irish. Notre Dame lost starting center Ashton Craig for the season, so a re-tooled offensive line will need to contain this Trojan pass rush."
The total is down a tick, from 62.5 to 62.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 13 Notre Dame (4-2 SU/3-3 ATS) aims to keep its name in the College Football Playoff conversation. In Week 7, the Fighting Irish drilled North Carolina State 36-7 giving 24 points at home.

BetMGM's total opened at 53.5 (Under -115), got to 54.5 in short order and made Thursday stops at 55.5/56.5 en route to 57.5 (Under -115) this morning. It's now at 56.5 flat.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: As of 10 p.m. ET Monday night, Georgia is a 7-point home favorite for this SEC showdown of Top 10 outfits.
"Ole Miss is coming off an extremely lackluster effort on Saturday against Washington State. The Rebels were possibly looking ahead to this matchup against the Bulldogs," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Georgia opened as 6.5 point home favorites.
"But we’ve had respected money lay the 6.5, and now it’s up to Georgia -7."
Borgata's total is up a point to 54.5.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 5 Ole Miss (6-0 SU/4-2 ATS) dodged a huge upset bid by Washington State in Week 7. The Rebels closed as massive 33.5-point home favorites and squeaked out a 24-21 victory.

"There's not a ton of money on this one. But there are plenty of interested parties in Texas Tech -7. We're gonna need ASU +7," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: With Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt (foot) looking likely to play this week, the point spread has moved toward the Sun Devils. Texas Tech is down to -7.5 (-105) in DraftKings' Week 8 college football odds.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: This line is on the move early in Borgata Sports' college football Week 8 odds. Texas Tech opened as 10-point road chalk and is out to -11.5.
"We've seen respected money lay the 10 and 10.5 on the Red Raiders," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday. "Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt has been classified as week-to-week with his foot injury, after missing the Utah game on Saturday."
In addition, ASU offensive lineman Ben Coleman (arm) and linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu (lower-body injury) are out for the rest of the season.
"You’ll see more line movement in this game once more comes out on Leavitt’s status," Gable said.

But Tech didn't allow another point and rolled 42-17 as 14-point road favorites.
Arizona State (4-2 SU/3-3 ATS) was ranked No. 21 entering Week 7, but didn't have QB Sam Leavitt at Utah, and it showed. The Sun Devils got buried 42-10 as 9.5-point road underdogs.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Thirty minutes pre-kickoff, Vanderbilt is -1.5 in BetMGM's college football Week 8 odds. The Commodores spent almost all week at -2.5 (-115), went to -1.5 Friday at various juice, then very briefly touched -2.5 this morning.
"The public is hip to Vanderbilt this weekend. The book is gonna need LSU outright. We're rooting for Under 48.5, as well," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total is at 48.5 (Under -115), down from a 48.5 opener but up from this morning's brief low point of 47.5.

ESPNBET's total is at 48.5 (Over -115), after opening 48.5 (Over -120). The number went to 49.5 (Under -115) Sunday night, 49.5 (Under -120) Monday afternoon, then returned to 48.5 Tuesday. The Over is taking 64% of bets, but money is dead even.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Vanderbilt has gone from -1.5 to -2.5 in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 8 market.
"We took some early Vanderbilt money," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "This Commodores team is capable of putting up a lot of point, but they were finally slowed down by Alabama two weeks ago."
So Vandy perhaps had a well-timed bye in Week 7.
"They have had time to prep for this much improved LSU defense, which has allowed only one opponent to score more than 20 points this season," Gable said.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 17 Vanderbilt (5-1 SU/4-2 ATS) is rested after a week off, following a closer-than-the-final-score-indicated loss at Alabama. The Commodores led 7-0 and 14-7, and the game was tied at 14 at halftime.
Vandy was down 23-14 when 'Bama, looking primarily to run out the clock, scored a touchdown, and the Commodores lost 30-14 as 12.5-point underdogs.
No. 10 LSU (5-1 SU/3-3 ATS) rebounded from its lone loss of the season, a Week 5 setback at Ole Miss. Following a bye week, the Tigers topped South Carolina 20-10 as 8.5-point home favorites.
Circa Sports opened this game at pick 'em in its college football odds Week 8 market. The line quickly moved to Vanderbilt -2.5, then went to -1.5/-2, before setting at -1 at 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday. The total climbed from 47.5 to 49.

The total is at its low point of 50.5 Wednesday evening, after opening at 53.5 and making stops at 52.5/51.5 along the way. And betting splits are quite disparate, with ticket count 3/1 on the Over, but money 9/1-plus on the Under.
EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports went from Miami -14 to -13.5, but is back at -14 on Monday night.
"Miami came into this season viewed as a team with the potential to make the College Football Playoff. The Hurricanes' undefeated start has them now ranked No. 2 in the country, and they have seen their national title odds come down to 8/1," Borgata Sportsbook director Tom Gable said.
Borgata's total is down a point, from 53.5 to 52.5.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 2 Miami (5-0 SU/4-1 ATS) got a breather with a bye in Week 7. The Hurricanes just completed a three-game Sunshine State sweep, winning and cashing against South Florida, Florida and Florida State.
In Week 6, Miami was a 3.5-point road favorite and beat the Seminoles 28-22.
Louisville (4-1 SU/1-4 ATS) also had a bye, perhaps much needed after its first loss of the season. In Week 6, the Cardinals fell to Virginia 30-27 in overtime as 6.5-point home favorites.
Circa Sports, highly regarded for its opening numbers, made Miami a 13-point favorite in college football Week 8 odds, at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET Sunday. There was no early spread movement, but the total nudged from 53.5 to 54 shortly after opening.
