The Houston Rockets have been one of the early surprises this season at 14-12 after winning just 22 games last season. However, the Rockets have had issues on the road by owning a 2-10 mark away from Toyota Center.

The Rockets head to the Big Easy tonight to face the New Orleans Pelicans in a Southwest Division battle. The Pelicans sit at 17-12 after five of their last six games since getting blown out by the Lakers at the In-Season tournament semifinals.

In their first matchup this season, the Rockets edged the Pelicans in a back-and-forth affair, 104-101 in Houston as three-point favorites.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings deal with another tough Western Conference opponent tonight after beating the Phoenix Suns on Friday, 120-105.

The Kings host the Minnesota Timberwolves, who continue to own the top record in the West at 21-6. The Wolves travel west after getting past the Lakers on Thursday, 118-111 for their fourth win in five games.

Sacramento won at Target Center in its first matchup with Minnesota this season on November 24 with a 124-111 triumph. The road team has won each of the past four meetings between these two squads.
