We have a Western Conference First Round rematch on tap Friday night, as the Los Angeles Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10:00 PM ET from Crypto.com Arena.

Unfortunately, there will be no NBA on NBC theme music for this one since the game will be on Amazon Prime Video.

The Timberwolves are the consensus 2.5-point favorite, with odds at -115 (opened at Minnesota +2.5, so the line flipped). Taking the points with the Lakers puts you at -105.

Naturally, Minnesota is the -155 favorite to win outright on the moneyline, while LA is at +130 to pull off the minor upset.

The over/under is currently set at 224.5 (opened at 220), with consensus odds favoring the over at -115 rather than the under at -105.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers Best Bet

The visiting Timberwolves come into this one 1-0 (0-1 ATS), fresh off a 118-114 victory over the Trail Blazers in Portland.

Anthony Edwards led the way for Minnesota with 41 points on 14-of-28 shooting, including 5-of-10 from distance, and a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe, seven rebounds, one assist, and a block.

The Timberwolves were down eight points early in the fourth before Ant and Jaden McDaniels rallied the troops for the dub.

The Lakers, meanwhile, stand at 0-1 (also 0-1 ATS) after dropping their home opener to the Golden State Warriors 119-109.

Naturally, with no LeBron, Luka Dončić paced LA (and cashed on his PRA prop) thanks to 43 points on 17-of-27 shooting, including just 2-of-10 from deep, 12 boards, and nine assists.

Dončić and Austin Reaves helped cut a 17-point third-quarter deficit to single digits down the stretch, but Steph Curry did Steph Curry things and nailed a dagger three with 51.4 seconds remaining to essentially seal the deal.

Looking ahead to this matchup, there is a good chance we see Luka and Ant light up the scoreboard once again.

The Lakers allowed the Warriors to shoot 38.7 percent on 31 non-corner three-point attempts on Opening Night, while the T'Wolves had defensive struggles of their own in Portland.

Dončić has gone over his points total in four of his last six, including three of five against Minnesota in last year's playoffs, and will be without LBJ once again. As such, that could be a major play.

Edwards' points prop is also enticing due to LA's ineptitude on defense, so let's put that offensive firepower together and roll with the total before the line moves even more, especially since the over has hit in this matchup in two of the last three.
