BetMGM Inks Deal With Madison Square Garden

Madison Square Garden, commonly dubbed the world’s most famous arena, has agreed to a multi-year marketing deal with BetMGM, one of the nation’s leading sports gaming providers.
BetMGM has been making waves in 2021. The race to acquire as much stake as possible in the growing sports betting industry is heating up. Earlier this year, they became an approved sportsbook operator of the NFL which led to their ad campaign starring the multi-talented Jamie Foxx.
The deal with Madison Square Garden occurred on the same day that the New York State Gaming Commission awarded BetMGM a sports betting license. BetMGM is now an official sports betting partner of the New York Knicks, the New York Rangers, and The Garden itself.
As a result, BetMGM will receive significant marketing in the arena. At Knicks games, marketing will include courtside and stanchion signage.
At Rangers games, it will consist of ever-desirable zamboni branding. There will also be special opportunities for fans to participate in premium experiences at Knicks and Rangers games. Additionally, BetMGM advertising will extend to digital signage outside of Madison Square Garden. Millions of people in the country’s most populated city will walk past the signage every day.
Beyond the premises, BetMGM will receive commercial spots through MSG Networks during Knicks, Rangers, Devils, and Islanders telecasts. BetMGM will also gain exposure through the Knicks and Rangers’ social media accounts.
Due to its cultural significance and rich sports history, many view New York as the biggest sports betting market in the country. DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars, BetRivers, PointsBet, Wynn, Kambi, and Resorts World are also preparing to go live in New York in the near future . New York is expected to accept its first online wagers before the 2022 Super Bowl.
