2026 WNBA Most Valuable Player Odds
All Aces
LATEST UPDATE: On May 7, a day ahead of the regular-season tipoff, Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson was the +225 favorite in BetMGM's WNBA MVP odds. Last season, Wilson won her second straight MVP award and fourth overall.
She then won the Finals MVP honor, while leading the Aces to their third title in four years. And so far this season, Wilson has the Aces (18-8) at No. 2 in WNBA Finals odds.
Wilson leads the league in scoring at 25.6 points per game, 2.3 points more than any other player. And she's averaging a league-leading 2.0 blocked shots per game, as well.
So it should be no surprise that Wilson is also putting some distance on the field in 2026 WNBA MVP futures. In mid-June, Wilson was -190. Now, as of July 28, she's -400 chalk.
"Wilson is the most-bet-on player for MVP by a wide margin. But the short price has kept it to where it is currently a slight winner for us," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said. "Her price has kept people away lately as we are now, too. Her best price all year was +250."
Dallas Wings standout Paige Bueckers slipped from the +550 second choice in mid-June to +850, though she's still the second choice. That ended what had been a steady climb for Bueckers, who opened +2000 and began the season at +1600.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, a massive fan favorite her first two seasons, slid out from a +250 second choice preseason to the +1500 fourth choice as of July 21. A week later, on July 28, Clark has improved to the +1200 third choice.
Clark is averaging 20.7 points and 7.8 assists for the Fever (17-10).
Clark also no longer leads BetMGM's ticket count, dropping to a tie for second with Bueckers, in a close race vs. ticket leader Wilson. And Wilson is lapping the field in money, taking 11 times more dollars than Clark and 3.5 times more than Bueckers.
For that matter, Bueckers is taking three times more money than Clark.
"It's a significant drop-off in Caitlin Clark money, based on the previous two years," Cipollini said.
The top five in tickets in BetMGM's WNBA MVP odds:
- Wilson
- Bueckers
- Clark
- Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles
- Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum
The top five in money in BetMGM's 2026 WNBA MVP odds:
- Wilson
- Bueckers
- Miles
- Clark
- Lynx forward Napheesa Collier
"We have liability on Bueckers and Miles," Cipollini said. "A'ja Wilson would be fine. But we wouldn't want Miles to get into the race."
Miles is the +1400 fourth choice, helping the Lynx to a league-leading 22-6 record. As Cipollini alluded to, Miles is BetMGM's largest liability in this market, after opening as a +12500 long shot. Bueckers is the second-largest liability.
Collier, Miles' teammate, missed the first 10 weeks of the season (27 games) before returning from offseason surgery on both ankles. So her standing in money is solely off preseason action, as she's been off the board for months.
In mid-June, Plum was the +2000 fourth choice. But a leg injury has kept her out since late June, and she's since plunged to +15000.
