On the other side is a team that has compiled the longest in-season losing streak in the history of the NBA as the Pistons have dropped 27 games in a row.

Boston is the biggest favorite of the season by laying 17 points tonight as the Celtics swept the Pistons last season and covered in all four matchups.

In Detroit's last five opportunities as a double-digit underdog, the Pistons have covered only once, which came in a 130-124 setback at Atlanta as 11.5-point 'dogs.

Miami Heat at Golden State Warriors

The Miami Heat begin a five-game road trip out west that starts against the Golden State Warriors this evening.

The Heat seek their fourth consecutive win, coming off a Christmas night victory over the 76ers. Miami has won three straight road games, while covering five of its last six games as an away underdog.

The Warriors had their five-game winning streak snapped on Christmas afternoon in a six-point defeat at Denver.

Golden State started the season with a dreadful 1-6 mark at Chase Center, but the Warriors have won eight straight home games.
