New York Mets ML (-123)
Kodai Senga was roughed-up in his most recent turn through the rotation, but even after that poor showing, he still owns a spectacular 1.79 ERA in 2025. Some of his peripherals are less inspiring, but there is nothing to suggest that Senga is at risk of extreme negative regression in the near future. The Mets have the better starting pitcher and the better offense in this matchup. If their bullpen can hold things together in the latter frames, they should have a good chance to finish off a sweep.
UNDER 8 (-106)
As of this writing, it looks like another chilly evening in The Bay, with the temperature forecasted around 60 degrees at first pitch. Yesterday’s contest featured only 3 total runs and Friday’s matchup featured only 2 runs after the 4th inning. Simply, it’s difficult to score runs in San Francisco, and even more so when the temperature is at risk of falling into the high-50s. Runs could be at a premium on Sunday Night Baseball.
Juan Soto UNDER 1.5 Total Bases (-170)
Juan Soto has struggled against left-handed pitching this season, particularly in the power department. Entering play on Sunday, he’s hitting only .233 with a meager .158 ISO against southpaws. Tonight, he will face Matt Gage in the 1st inning and perhaps another lefty or two later in the evening. Factor in Soto’s high walk rate and it becomes mathematically unlikely that he has multiple total bases in this contest.
