See All

Wyatt Langford to Hit a Home Run (+650 | BetMGM) vs. (SP: Charlie Morton)

First up is Wyatt Langford, who has enjoyed a nice breakout. The once highly touted prospect turned in a solid rookie campaign in 2024 and has enjoyed much better power numbers in his sophomore year.

Langford already has 13 dingers to date, nine of which have come against righties, where he is slugging .430 against the same side.

On the mound, he'll take on Charlie Morton, who is allowing an unimpressive 1.42 HR/9 against right-handers. At this stage in his career, Morton is there to eat up innings and keep their team in the game. With Langford at the top of the lineup, Langford could see Morton three times in this advantageous matchup.

With 100 degrees on the horizon and no wind, these odds are too good to pass up for a guy who is on the verge of a potential 30-home run campaign.

Jac Caglianone to Hit a Home Run (+700 | bet365) vs. (SP: Taj Bradley)

Caglianone was a guy we highlighted a few weeks back. Although he failed to go yard, he has been mashing the ball since his call-up.

Although Caglianone does not have enough at-bats to qualify, his xwOBA, xSLG, and bat speed would all rank near the top of the league.

He'll take on Taj Bradley, who has flashed plenty of high-end stuff. However, since he's come into the league, Bradley has struggled mightily with consistency.

He's generally managed to limit fly balls better than his first two seasons, but against lefties, it's still a big-time battle, allowing 1.75 HR/9 against the same side.

Caglianone has odds hovering around +520 to +550 at most sportsbooks, but bet365's +700 number is enough of an outlier to take a shot.

Kyle Stowers to Hit a Home Run (+680 | FanDuel) vs. (SP: Justin Verlander)

Last but not least is Kyle Stowers of the Miami Marlins. For those who consistently bet on homers, Stowers is one of the more frustrating guys to bet on:

Credit to Baseball Savant

This is not the Baseball Savant profile of someone you'd expect to have only 11 home runs. However, when the matchup and odds dictate it, we have to consider a wager, and that's certainly the case this Tuesday.

All of Stowers' 11 home runs have come against righties, where he slugs nearly 100 points higher against the same side.

Justin Verlander will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer whenever he decides to hang them up, but for now, he is hanging on for dear life. Although Oracle Park isn't conducive to home runs, Verlander has relinquished a .500 SLG against lefties at home.

Furthermore, even though it'll be a cool night in San Fran, the wind is blowing 10 mph to the outfield.
