On Tuesday, the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays will meet at the Rogers Centre in a battle of two teams fighting for the AL East crown. Entering play, the Blue Jays are 4 games ahead of the Yankees in the standings, with both teams having 62 games remaining on their schedule. This contest should have a playoff-like atmosphere this evening.

As always, it is worth noting that straight wagers are a far more profitable long-term betting strategy than parlays. Still, parlays can be a fun way to get some extra action on a game to make things interesting!

New York Yankees ML (+104)

The biggest impediment to winning tonight for the Blue Jays is going to be how they navigate the latter frames. Ahead of first pitch on Tuesday, Toronto has used Jeff Hoffman, Yariel Rodriguez, and Brendon Little each 3 times in the last 4 days. It’s possible that all of those names could be available this evening, given the stakes of this matchup, but there are genuine fatigue concerns in such a situation, which could impact performance. New York has the better starting pitcher and a more rested bullpen today, which should give them a great chance to get back in the win column.

UNDER 9 (-102)

Cam Schlittler allowed 3 earned runs in 5.1 innings of work in his last start prior to the All-Star break, but the underlying metrics on that outing look pretty strong. He threw 66.7% first-pitch strikes, didn’t allow too much quality contact, and generated a healthy 33.3% strikeout rate. He was particularly tough on right-handed batters, which should bode well for him against a Toronto lineup that skews right-handed heavy. If Max Scherzer can put together a respectable outing this evening, the under should have a great chance to cash.

Jazz Chisholm OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+130)

This season, Max Scherzer has struggled mightily across the platoon, posting a disastrous 7.26 FIP and 1.33 WHIP against left-handed hitters. His struggles have stemmed primarily from an inability to miss bats against lefties, generating an anemic 14.3% strikeout rate. Jazz Chisholm has been at his best against right-handed pitching in 2025, hitting .258 with a 157 wRC+, .933 OPS, and .320 ISO. He’s well-positioned to do some damage at the plate on Tuesday.
