Red Rover, No Over
The Cincinnati Reds have been a total bettors' dream lately, hitting the 'under' in each of their past 11 games overall, while posting a 12-0-1 across the past 13 outings. Overall, the total is 76-76-6 this season for Cincinnati, but their offense has really gone downhill lately, and the pitching has picked up down the stretch. Since a 10-run explosion on Sept. 10 against the Dodgers, the last 'over' for Cincinnati, the Reds have scored a goal of just 20 runs across the past 13, averaging just 1.6 runs per outing. Cincinnati has been shut out five separate times during the ugly stretch, too.

The Reds will continue their interleague series on Wednesday against the equally awful Royals. The under is 7-2 in the past nine interleague road games for Kansas City, while going 19-7 across the past 26 against National League opponents. The Royals are also 5-2 in the past seven overall, and 5-2 over the past seven outings on the road. They're also 9-4-2 in the past 15 games against left-handed starting pitchers, while hitting at a 33-16-5 clip across the past 54 vs. the National League Central Division.

For Cincinnati, they're also 15-5-1 in the past 21 games overall, while going 8-0 in the past eight following a loss in their previous outing. While the over is 4-0-1 in their past five at Great American Ball Park, the under is 4-0-1 in their past five vs. RHP. The under stretch will be put to the test, as the over is 8-3 in the past 11 vs. AL Central foes, while going 8-3 in their past 11 interleague battles. In addition, tht over is 12-4-1 across the past 17 with LHP Cody Reed on the hill. The 'under' is also 5-0 in the past five meetings between these two cellar-dwelling combatants.

Looking Ahead

Wednesday, Sept. 26
The Orioles will battle the Red Sox in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The O's will try to sack LHP Chris Sale in the second game of the twin bill at Fenway Park. The 'over' is 3-1-1 in the past five second games of a doubleheader for the O's, while going 4-0 in their past four road outings against a left-handed starter. The over is also 8-3-1 in the past 12 games inside the division while going 5-1-1 in their past seven road contests. However, the under is 4-0-2 across the past six home outings for Sales, while going 4-1-1 in his past six against AL East contests. The under is also a very odd 4-0-3 in the past seven games at Fenway for the Red Sox heading into the double dip.

Brewers RHP Jhoulys Chacin and Cardinals RHP John Gant will square off against each others at Busch Stadium II. The over is 5-2 in Milwaukee's past seven road outings vs. RHP, but the under is 9-4 in the past 13 for the Brewers overall. The under is also 9-4 in the past 13 inside the division while going 4-1 in Chacin's past five assignments away from Cream City. For St. Louis, the over has connected in seven in a row, while going 4-0 in the past four at home. The over is also 4-0 in the past four vs. RHP while going 4-0 in their past four games against a team with a winning record. However, the under is 5-2-1 in the past eight against NL Central foes while going 6-2-1 in his past nine while working on four days of rest.

It's a southpaw-on-southpaw fight when the Rangers and Angels square off at the Big A. It's been all over, all the time for both sides. The over is 4-1 in the past five for the Rangers while going 4-0 in the past four starts by Yohander Mendez. For the Halos, the over is 6-0-1 in the past seven overall while going 6-0-1 in their past seven contests inside the AL West. The over is also 4-1 in Andrew Heaney's past five at home. However, the under is 16-5 in L.A.'s past 21 home games vs. LHP, while going 22-8-1 in the past 31 overall against a left-hander. The under is also 8-1 in the past nine meetings in this series in Anaheim, while going 6-2 in the past eight overall.

The 'over' is 4-0 across his past four starts on the road, but at Citi Field the 'under' has connected in each of his past six at home dating back to May 3, which was an 11-0 loss against the Braves. He was opposed by RHP Julio Teheran in that outing, and the 'over' is 3-1 across the past four starts away from home for the righty.

The Pirates will turn to RHP Trevor Williams, and it's been all about the 'under' with him on the hill lately. The under is 5-1 over his past six outings, and 11-1 across the past 12 starts overall. He'll be opposed by LHP Jon Lester, and the 'under' is 2-0 in his past two starts at Wrigley despite the over going 7-3 in the past 10 starts overall by the veteran southpaw. The under is also 8-4 across the past 12 starts by the Bucs vs. LHP, including a 1-0 setback against the Cubs on Aug. 16 when Lester worked against them at PNC Park.

Friday, Sept. 28
The Phillies will turn to RHP Aaron Nola against the Braves to kick off the final series of the regular season. The under is 3-0 in the past three starts for Nola, incluidng last time out in Atlanta on Sept. 23. The under is also 6-2-2 over the past 10 starts by the right-hander. For the Braves, the 'under' went 3-0 in the most recent series at Citizens Bank Park between these two sides May 21-23.

White Sox RHP Lucas Giolito makes his final start of the season in Minnesota. The 'over' is 4-1 in the past five starts by Giolito, and the over hit in his most recent start at Target Field on Aug. 20 when he allowed three runs over six innings in an 8-5 victory.

Indians RHP Mike Clevinger will take the ball against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium on Friday. The over is 3-1 in the past four starts by Clevinger, including his most recent action against Kansas City on Sept. 4. He allowed just one earned run in that game, but the Indians won it 9-3. He is 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA in four starts over 27 innings against the Royals this season, with quality starts in each of the four outings.
