Finishing with a record of 110-67 picking point spreads and totals for professional football games in the 2019 regular season, ‘jacob777’ scored 3,291.68 units to finish atop the overall leaderboard. With his position comes a $5,000 Grand Prize, awarded in FanDuel credit, and the right to be called the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge champion.

With a decent lead entering the final week, ‘jacob777’ only made two selections. He picked the over on 44.5 points in the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants game, and he picked the Denver Broncos (-4.5) on the point spread. The Eagles won 34-17 over the Giants, and the 51-point total covered the 44.5. The Broncos failed to cover the 4.5-point spread, though. They won the game but only beat the Raiders 16-15.

Despite only making two contest selections in Week 17 and going 1-1 with those two picks, ‘jacob777’ had still earned enough units to top the overall leaderboard by nearly 300 units.

It was Week 11 that saw ‘jacob777’ move to first place in the overall standings. That week, he picked up 887.74 units to bring his total to 2,096.24 units. At the time, his record was 76-48. From that point on, ‘jacob777’ didn’t give up the lead. He held the top spot all the way through the end to take home the $5,000 Grand Prize.

Finishing in second place was ‘robster25’ with a season record of 91-53 for 3,008.04 units. In third place was SharpSide user ‘w8training’ with 2,288.75 units won from a record of 100-68.

‘bodysurfoceanside’ Wins Final $250 Weekly Prize

‘Jacob777’ isn’t the only winner to announce following Week 17 of the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge. Topping the Week 17 leaderboard was ‘bodysurfoceanside’ and he’ll take home a $250 Weekly Prize for his efforts.

In the final week, ‘bodysurfoceanside’ went 19-7 to score 1,034.06 units. He beat everyone else by more than 300 units. In second place on the week was ‘Apollowallaby’ with 712.54 units won and then ‘JOSHREB’ was third with 667.14 units won.
