-- From the "you got to be kidding" department...Iowa State (who is winless in Big 12 play this season) owns a perfect 5-0 record in Big 12 championship games, while Texas only has one conference tournament title trophy by going 1-6 in the Big 12 championship.

-- In the last six Big 12 tournaments since 2014, the top seed has captured the title only three times, which were all Kansas back in 2016, 2018 and 2022.

-- During Iowa State's title run in 2019, the Cyclones became the lowest seed (#5) ever to take home the Big 12 tournament title in its 23-year history.

-- The only team to never make a Big 12 title game is TCU, while neither of the Oklahoma schools have reached the championship since 2005, when Oklahoma State held off Texas Tech, 72-68.
