HOW TO READ THE MLB ROOKIE OF THE YEAR ODDS
The MLB Rookie of the Year award is handed out in both the American and National League at the conclusion of each Major League Baseball season. The honor goes to the top first year player, regardless of position. To qualify, players must have less than 45 days on an active roster before September 1 and players are eligible even if they played in a professional league outside of Major League Baseball, as long as they adhere to the rookie rule.
