Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals Betting Prediction

The Dodgers send RHP Mitch White to the hill against St. Louis’ 13th ranked scoring offense on Tuesday night (4.48 RSPG), who’s already having a solid campaign sitting 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA on the season (1.15 WHIP), however, he’s been much better in the starting role, considering White boasts an impressive 2.93 ERA across seven starts; and a lackluster 4.82 ERA across five bullpen appearances.

On the flip side, the Cardinals send LHP Matthew Liberatore to the mound tonight, who’s 2-1 with a 4.74 ERA across six starts this season (1.74 WHIP), which includes a trio of rough outings against the Pirates, Cubs, and Phillies (10.97 ERA, 2.44 WHIP); and three impressive outings against the Brewers, Pirates, and Braves (0.00 ERA, 1.21 WHIP).

I’ll back L. A. to cover here, as Liberatore gets the ball against the Dodgers 2nd ranked scoring offense tonight (5.05 RSPG), who’s tossed five innings or less and allowed four runs or more in half of his starts this season (6 GS, 4.74 ERA); setting the stage for an unfavorable pitching matchup against White, who’s surrendered one run or less in four of his last six starts (2.22 ERA, 1.09 WHIP).

Score Prediction: Dodgers 6, Cardinals 3
Best Bet: Dodgers -1.5 (+110)
