UPDATE 6 P.M. ET FRIDAY: On Sunday night, BetMGM pegged the Chargers 3-point favorites, and the line spent a few hours Monday at -3.5. But the number was at various iterations of -3 most of the week and is now L.A. -2.5 (-120).

Spread tickets and money are just shy of 2/1 on Los Angeles.

The total bounced around throughout the week, from 45.5 to 46, then down to 45. It's been at 45.5 since Thursday morning, with 60% of tickets on the Under/63% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles (0-1 SU and ATS) played a riveting Week 1 game, but came up short. The Chargers gave up a last-minute touchdown, losing 36-34 as 3-point home favorites against Miami.

Tennessee failed to score a touchdown, with all its points coming on Nick Folk field goals in a 16-15 loss at New Orleans. But the Titans (0-1 SU/1-0 ATS) cashed as 3-point pups.

Chargers vs Titans Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction:

The Chargers showed off a great rushing attack under new OC Kellen Moore in the opener, but the Titans led the league in run defense DVOA last season. Tennessee also ranked 28th against the pass, and the Titans are missing CB Kristian Fuller and S Amani Hooker, so this should set up for a big game for Justin Herbert.

The underdog formula sets up well. The Chargers struggle against the run. Hand the ball off to Derrick Henry all game, keep it close, and let Mike Vrabel work his magic as a great home underdog (60% ATS). Play the spread, not the moneyline, in case the Titans lose another close one.

Pick: Titans +2.5 (-105)
