With the close of Week 8 in the NFL, there are two winners to announce from the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge. SharpSide contestants ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ and ‘Teodagod41’ both won big. ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ topped the weekly leaderboard to score $250, and ‘Teodagod41’ stood atop the overall leaderboard after Week 8 to win the $750 Halfway Prize.

In Week 8, ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ went 24-9 picking NFL game spreads and over/under totals using the free-to-play SharpSide sports betting app. That’s a win percentage of nearly 73% and it earned ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ 1,289.93 units. ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ topped the Week 8 leaderboard by nearly 200 units and walked away with the $250 weekly prize.

‘Teodagod41,’ who won the weekly leaderboards in Week 1 and Week 2, padded his bankroll even further by finishing on top of the overall leaderboard through the first eight weeks of the season. With 2,212.95 units won overall, ‘Teodagod41’ is in first place overall and earned the $750 Halfway Prize given to the overall leader through Week 8. That puts the total winnings for ‘Teodagod41’ at $1,250 in the content to date.

For ‘Corinnalachapelle3,’ it was the second weekly win of the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge. ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ topped the weekly leaderboard in Week 5 with a record of 22-10 and 993.63 units won. The 24-9 performance in Week 8 was even better. It also helped bring ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ back into the top 10 overall. At 115-90 overall, ‘Corinnalachapelle3’ now sits 10th.

There is still plenty to be won for the remainder of the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge. Nine more $250 weekly prizes are up for grabs, and then there’s the $5,000 Grand Prize up for the taking at the end of the season. The $5,000 Grand Prize will go to the overall standings leader at the end of the pro football regular season.

Speaking of the overall leaderboard, that’s where ‘Teodagod41’ is shining. He’s sitting at 129-95 overall, which is good for 2,212.95 units won. Again, this position won ‘Teodagod41’ the $750 Halfway Prize and he’s now in a prime position for the season-ending $5,000 Grand Prize.

Entering Week 8, ‘Teodagod41’ was in second place overall behind ‘fxalvarado.’ With the Week 8 results, those two changed positions and it’s now ‘Teodagod41’ on top and ‘fxalvarado’ in second. In third place overall, it’s still ‘onpoint586.’
