Week 12 of the NFL is in the books, and so is another week of contest action in the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge. Finishing atop the Week 12 leaderboard and winning a $250 prize was SharpSide contestant 'CCKILLA.’
‘CCKILLA’ went 15-4 in Week 12, scoring 940.30 units won and finishing nearly 100 units ahead of everyone else. In second place was ‘robster25’ at 848.91 units, and then it was ‘Joe1Coal’ in third at 799.09 units.
There are five more weeks left in the professional football regular season, which means there are still five $250 Weekly Prizes up for grabs. Even if you didn’t participate in the contest for the first 12 weeks of it running, there’s still plenty of time to win in the 2019 VegasInsider.com Pro Football Handicapping Challenge.
A single weekly win can get you $250, but don’t forget about the $5,000 Grand Prize that is up for grabs to the overall season leader! It’s still anyone’s game.

Looking at the overall leaderboard, which is where the end-of-season leader will win a massive $5,000 Grand Prize, it’s once again ‘jacob777’ on top. He entered Week 12 with a record of 76-48 and 2,096.24 units won. After Week 12, ‘jacob777’ improved to 81-50 and 2,360.26 units won.
The race for the $5,000 Grand Prize is only going to heat up as the season nears its close, and right now ‘KE4’ and ‘robster25’ are hot on the heels of ‘jacob777’ with 2,171.19 units won and 2,157.05 units won, respectively. With each weekly leaderboard winner scoring around 1,000 units, the lead that ‘jacob777’ has is far from safe. He’s going to need to keep pushing, and plenty of contestants are in contention, even those who might be brand new.
Of note, ‘Teadagod41,’ who was in third place entering Week 12 and is already the winner of two $250 weekly leaderboard prizes, slipped down to 13th place overall. He went from 1,915.41 units won to 1,396.03 units won.
