NFL – 2020 NFC Opponent Analysis

The schedule for the upcoming NFL season will be released in April, but every team knows their opponents they will play at home and away in 2020.

Each NFC team will play their division foes twice each (home and away), while also taking on four teams from another division in the conference (two home and two away), and facing two more NFC squads from the remaining two divisions (one home and one away).

Each NFC division is paired up with an AFC division for interconference play (four games apiece, two home and two road). In 2020, the NFC East will face the AFC North, the NFC North squares off with the AFC South, the NFC West plays the AFC East, and the NFC South takes on the AFC West.

Highlighted in bold are the playoff teams from 2019 that each club plays this season. Every squad faces from four to six teams that qualified for the postseason last season, with Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, and San Francisco (6) seeing the most playoff teams, while New York and Washington take on only four playoff teams.
