OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Sixty years after its only World Cup title, England stands two wins away from finally lifting the trophy again. In Saturday's penultimate quarterfinal, Jude Bellingham's goal two minutes into overtime lifted England over Norway 2-1 as a -110 favorite.

Bellingham scored Three Lions' first goal, as well, saving England's bacon all the way around. After Norway scored in the 36th minute, Bellingham knotted it up at 1 in first-half injury time.

Defending champion Argentina needed overtime, as well, in order to vanquish Switzerland 3-1 as a -145 favorite in the last quarterfinal. Switzerland was down a man after a 72nd-minute red card, with the game tied at 1.

The Swiss still managed to force OT. But Argentina scored in the 112th minute and in overtime injury time. Interestingly, Lionel Messi was shut out, though he's still tied for the Golden Boot lead with eight goals, joining France's Kylian Mbappe.

Late Saturday night, BetMGM opened England vs. Argentina odds at England +150/Argentina +190/Draw +210 on the three-way moneyline. Shortly thereafter, Argentina adjusted a touch to +195.

The To Advance market opened at England -125/Argentina even money, and England adjusted to -130. The semifinal marks the first time Argentina is an underdog in this tournament, after being favored in six straight matches.

BetMGM's total opened at 2.5 (Under -160), then nudged to 2.5 (Under -165).
