EURO 2020 - ENGLAND VS. ITALY NOTES
Prior to the tournament, England was listed as a +550 betting choice to win the Euro 200 while Italy was +1200.
- Date: Sunday, July 11
- TV-Time: ESPN, 3:00 p.m. ET
- Venue: Wembley Stadium
- Location: London, England
Sunday's match against Italy will be England's first final since the 1966 World Cup, which still remains as The Three Lions only international title.
England has only allowed one goals in six matches and it has had an advantage, playing five of those matches at Wembley Stadium in London.
Italy has reached the final with a mixture of attacking flair and solid defense, which has seen it concede only three goals at the Euro 2020 tourney.
What's amazing for Italy is that the club failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup but it has set a national team record of 33 unbeaten matches and that includes six (4-0-2) during this tournament.
Italy won the UEFA European Championship in 1968.
This will be the first European Championship meeting between the pair.

HOW TO READ THE UEFA EURO ODDS MARKET
UEFA EURO HISTORY
The UEFA European Championship began in 1960 with France hosting the first tournament. It has been held every four years since then, with the exception of 2020 due to COVID-19. The finals, still referred to as the '2020' Euros by UEFA - the tournament's governing league - are instead scheduled for the summer of 2021.
Spain is the only nation to win the event twice, both wins coming on back-to-back tournaments in 2008 and 2012. Italy has seen three championship appearances but lost two of them. Germany has also finished as a runner-up on two separate occasions but did manage to win the event in 1996 when England hosted.
France was the last country to host the event and win (1984), although this year won't have a host due to the COVID-19 re-scheduling. Germany will host the event in 2024.
