Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Preview
| Newcastle | Draw | Crystal Palace |
| 7/10 | 14/5 | 4/1 |
Newcastle go into this fixture as strong favourites, having won their last four Premier League fixtures. But Palace certainly aren't pushovers - before their loss to Manchester City last weekend, they hadn't lost in six Premier League games.
Newcastle's last result was a comfortable 4-1 win over Manchester United. Their last Premier League loss was in February, when they went down to Liverpool - a result they avenged in the Carabao Cup final. Palace lost 5-2 to Manchester City over the weekend, but their form is still impressive. Before then, they hadn't lost in the Premier League since February 15th.
Newcastle will be without Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles for the game, with both nursing injuries. Palace will only be without Cheick Doucoure, with Marc Guehi now available and likely to start in defence.
Prediction
Crystal Palace have been impressive recently, but Newcastle United have been even better. The Toon need the three points to further their bid for Champions League qualification, while Palace don't have much to play for now this season. Newcastle go into the game as heavy favourites for a reason.
