USA vs. Paraguay Odds

• Opening moneyline: USA +125/Paraguay +165/Draw +225
• Opening total: Over/Under 2.5 goals scored
• Time: 9 p.m. ET Friday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: At 7:30 p.m. ET, 90 minutes pre-kickoff, Team USA is +105 chalk in three-way moneyline betting at The SuperBook. Paraguay is a +295 underdog, while Draw is +225 in USA vs. Paraguay odds.

Just like every other book in Vegas and across the country, The SuperBook is getting pounded by USMNT action.

"It's about 9/1 tickets on the Stars & Stripes, and growing actually. Every bet I see is USA +105," SuperBook vice president John Murray said, adding that money is even more lopsided at 10/1-plus.

And that's just on straight bets.

"USA three-way is in a lot of parlays. And there's money on Over 2, as well," Murray said, before addressing the book's preferred outcome. "I'll say Draw. We can't root for the USMNT to lose. Come on!"

The total is at 2 (Over -120).

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: When BetMGM first posted World Cup odds for USA vs. Paraguay, the moneyline was pretty close. Team USA was modest +125 chalk to Paraguay's +165 underdog price.

But with Friday's match approaching, the odds have adjusted further in favor of the U.S. As of 10:30 a.m. ET Friday, the three-way numbers are at USA +105/Paraguay +290/Draw +220.

It's practically all USA on the moneyline, tickets and dollars. Paraguay and Draw have similar ticket counts and limited money, with more on the underdog.

"Paraguay or Draw would be a massive result for the house," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "There are going to be a lot of slips with USA moneyline, Christian Pulisic to score anytime, Over 2.5 goals etc.

"We're expecting to see a lot of USA action, starting Friday through the rest of the month."
