Alabama vs UNC Picks & Prediction

Both the Crimson Tide and the Tar Heels travel west for the Sweet 16 in Los Angeles on Thursday.

UNC trailed Michigan State by 12 points early before putting together a 20-2 run and never looking back in an 85-69 win as 4-point favorites.

Alabama heads back west for a second straight weekend after beating Charleston and Grand Canyon in the first two rounds in Spokane.

The Crimson Tide lit up Charleston in the opening round, 109-96, while holding off Grand Canyon, 72-61. The Antelopes shot 2-of-20 from 3-point range, while also missing 14 free throws in the loss.

If Alabama can't hit its 3-point shots against North Carolina, scoring on 2-point attempts won't be easy.

The Tar Heels rank 22nd in the country in defending the 2, as they held nine of the last 10 opponents to less than 47% shooting on 2-pointers.
