Big 12 Tournament betting heads to the championship game, one of four major conference finals on the Saturday schedule, among a slew of other title games. And top-seeded Kansas will be there, despite not having coach Bill Self, who is recovering from an undisclosed surgical procedure earlier this week.

The Jayhawks will square off against No. 2 seed Texas in a speedy rematch, as the two teams just met in the March 3 regular-season finale.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET SATURDAY: An hour before tipoff, WynnBet has Kansas as a 2-point favorite in Big 12 Tournament odds. The Jayhawks opened -1.5 overnight and toggled between -1.5 and -2 a couple of times before stabilizing at -2 midmorning.

It's pretty much all Kansas on the spread, with ticket count at 5/1 and money 9/1. Further, on the moneyline, tickets and money are both approaching 5/1 on the Jayhawks (-135).

WynnBet opened the total at 142, fell back to 141 briefly this morning, then climbed to 142.5 by late this morning. It's still 142.5 as game time approaches, with tickets 9/1 and money 2.5/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: BetMGM pegged Kansas a 1.5-point chalk overnight in the Big 12 Tournament betting market. In the past hour, the Jayhawks jumped a point to -2.5 (-105).

"We're 90/10 with Kansas money. Way more Kansas money," BetMGM sports trader Christian Cipollini said, while noting the book needs Texas in Big 12 tourney futures as well. "Kansas is a loser, Texas a winner, so we're rooting for that as of now."

Point-spread ticket count is running 7/1 on the Jayhawks.

The total opened at 142.5, dipped to 141.5 a couple of hours ago and is now back at 142.5. Current splits aren't available on the total.

UPDATE 12:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Kansas led No. 5 seed Iowa State 33-25 at halftime in Friday's first semifinal. Then the Jayhawks got outscored 14-5 in the first few minutes of the second half to fall behind 39-38. But the defending national champions quickly regained the lead and steadily pulled away in a 71-58 victory as 4.5-point favorites.

Kansas (27-6 SU, 16-17 ATS) has two double-digit wins in the Big 12 Tourney, after topping West Virginia 78-61 laying 3 points in the quarterfinals.

Texas (25-8 SU, 16-17 ATS) was in a close game throughout against No. 6 TCU, but still made it 2-for-2 SU and ATS in Big 12 Tournament betting. The Longhorns closed as 2-point favorites and never trailed in holding off the Horned Frogs 66-60.

Texas is on modest upswings of 3-0 SU and 4-0 ATS.

Caesars pegged Kansas a slim 1.5-point favorite on the Big 12 Tournament odds board, with the total at 142.5. Neither number moved late Friday night/early Saturday. Check back throughout the day Saturday for updates on odds, action and betting splits.
