OPENING ODDS UPDATE: St. John's (25-6 SU/15-16 ATS) capped the regular season with a 72-65 win over Seton Hall laying 5.5 points on the road. That clinched the No. 1 seed for the Red Storm, who rebounded from a blowout 72-40 loss at UConn to win their final three games.

Creighton vs. Seton Hall Odds

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 4 seed Seton Hall (20-11 SU/18-13 ATS) lost two of its final three regular-season games, but those were against No. 1 seed St. John's and No. 2 seed UConn. In Friday's finale, the Pirates fell 72-65 catching 5.5 points at home vs. the Red Storm.

No. 5 seed Creighton (15-16 SU/10-21 ATS) had to win its regular-season finale to earn the final bye in the Big East Tourney. The Bluejays drilled Butler 76-59 as 2.5-point road underdogs, halting a three-game SU and ATS slide.

But this is a subpar team by Creighton standards. The Bluejays are one of the worst spread-covering outfits in the nation, entering postseason play on a 2-13 ATS nosedive.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 2 seed UConn is 27-4 SU and among the top national championship contenders. But the Huskies are just 11-20 ATS, including 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games. That puts Dan Hurley's squad among the worst of 365 Division I teams.

In Saturday's regular-season finale at Marquette, UConn stumbled in all ways, losing 68-62 as 9.5-point road chalk.
