The Blue Devils are steep seven-point favorites on the spread in Sunday's contest; with the game total set near over/under 143 at most sportsbooks.

NC State vs Duke Picks & Prediction

The last spot up for grabs in the Final Four on Sunday takes place between a couple old Tobacco Road rivals with Duke squaring off against N.C. State.

The Blue Devils destroyed the Wolfpack in their lone regular season meeting in Raleigh, 79-64 as 6-point favorites. Duke opened things up in the second half by out-scoring N.C. State, 46-34 to mark its fifth win over the Wolfpack in the last six tries.

However, State got the last laugh by eliminating Duke in the ACC quarterfinals in a 74-69 triumph as 11-point underdogs. 

The Wolfpack won in spite of missing nine free throws, but five players scored in double-figures to help Kevin Keatts’ squad eventually win the ACC tournament and grab the automatic bid.

N.C. State closed the regular season on a 2-7 slump before running off five wins in five days at the ACC tournament, prior to the three straight wins in the Big Dance.

Duke rolled past Vermont and James Madison in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament, followed by a 54-51 victory over Houston as four-point underdogs in the Sweet 16.

The Blue Devils are 7-2 ATS in their last nine NCAA tournament games since 2022 and will not be surprised by the Wolfpack in this rematch of their ACC tournament loss.

Marquette shot 4-of-31 from 3-point range in Friday’s 67-58 loss to N.C. State, as it will be hard to believe that Duke will have those similar struggles from downtown on Sunday.
