N.C. State vs Texas Tech State Prediction

It's a battle of Red and Black on both sides at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh as N.C. State looks to keep up its momentum from winning five games in five days at the ACC Tournament.

The Wolfpack pulled off an improbable run as they lost seven of their final nine games of the regular season.

N.C. State defeated Duke, Virginia, and North Carolina in a 3-day stretch to grab the automatic bid as the Wolfpack seek their first NCAA Tournament win since 2015.

Texas Tech was bounced in the Big 12 semifinals by Houston, but the Red Raiders finished tied for 3rd place with Baylor at 11-7 in league play.

The Red Raiders were one of the best free throw shooting teams in the country at nearly 78%, while ranking 38th in the nation in 3-point shooting at 36.5%.

N.C. State put together an unbelievable run, but they needed that just to get into the Big Dance. We'll see how much momentum they have now after nearly a week off, but Texas Tech should be able to handle them and advance.
