Northwestern vs UConn Picks & Prediction

Northwestern threw away a big lead late against FAU, but the Wildcats dominated in overtime for a 77-65 victory to advance to the second round.

The Wildcats go from one Final Four team from last season to the defending National Champions by taking on UConn.

The Huskies ripped up Stetson, 91-52 as 27.5-point favorites, marking the seventh straight win and cover in the NCAA Tournament.

UConn is listed as a double-digit favorite once again, owning a 12-7 ATS mark this season when laying at least 10 points. Four of those non-covers came as a favorite at least 20 points.

Northwestern will do everything they can to slow down UConn with its pace, which ranks 341st in the country. Also, the Wildcats have been fantastic as an underdog of late by covering in seven of the past eight chances.

UConn is such a machine right now, it's tough to see how Northwestern will able to keep up scoring and stay within this number.
