Baylor continues to climb the national rankings in the midst of a SU 10-game winning streak. It opened play in the Big 12 with Saturday’s 59-44 home victory over Texas as 8 ½-point favorites. The SU 11-1 Bears have followed a ATS win with an ATS loss over the course of their last seven games. They are 7-5 ATS overall and the total has stayed UNDER in four of their last six outings.MaCio Teague had a big game against Texas with 21 points. The Bears won that game by 15 points despite shooting 31.3 percent from the field and 29.4 percent from three-point range.
Texas Tech is 10-3 SU this season and it got things going in the Big 12 on Saturday with a big 85-50 romp over Oklahoma State as a 5 ½-point home favorite. The Red Raiders have won their last five games SU but this was just their second cover ATS over their last eight outings. They are an even 4-4 ATS at home this season. The total has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in four of Texas Tech’s last five games.
