Tennessee opened SEC play with a 14-point loss to LSU as a slight 1 ½-point home favorite on Jan. 4. Since then, the Volunteers have won four of five games straight-up with a 3-2 record against the spread. They are 12-6 SU on the year while going 8-10 ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in three of their last four outings.

John Fulkerson scored a career-high 18 points with 10 rebounds in Tuesday’s 73-48 rout of Ole Miss. He is one of four players averaging at least 11 points per game this season.

The No. 3 team in the nation has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. A game-ending brawl in the Jayhawks’ 81-60 victory on Monday against bitter rival Kansas State marred their sixth SU win in the last seven games (5-2 ATS).

The end result is the suspension of Silvio De Sousa for the next 12 games and David McCormack for the next two. Kansas is 5-1 in Big 12 play and 15-3 SU overall. The total went OVER 127 points on Monday after staying UNDER in the previous seven contests.

In Tuesday’s season sweep over Georgia with a 10-point win as a 12-point home favorite, Ashton Hagans ended the game with 23 points. Yet, he is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Junior forward Nick Richards added 20 points.

With three losses (SU and ATS) in five games, Texas Tech has gotten off to a rough start in Big 12 play. It failed to cover in Tuesday’s 65-54 road loss to TCU as a 2 ½-point favorite. The total stayed UNDER 126 ½ points and it has stayed UNDER in four of the Red Raiders’ last five games. They are now 12-6 SU with a 8-10 record ATS.
