The Tigers and Vols meet for the second time in two weeks. LSU picked up a 79-67 victory on Jan. 8 in Baton Rouge, covering as a 2.5-point favorite as the OVER connected. It was a rare OVER for the Tigers lately, as the UNDERE is 5-1 in the past six games, and 14-2 across the past 16 games overall. LSU has tailed off lately, losing two straight games at home against Arkansas, and at Alabama on Wednesday by a 70-67 count. The Tigers were able to pick up the cover in that Bama game as four-point underdogs at most shops.

Tennessee was taken behind the shed by Kentucky last Saturday, losing 107-79 as 4.5-point underdogs. The Vols rebounded in an in-state battle at Vanderbilt, topping the Commodores 68-60 in Nashville as 6.5-point favorites. The Vols had four players hit double digits in points, winning despite the fact they were ice-cold from the floor at 34%, or 19-of-56, while hitting just 22%, or 5-of-23, from behind the arc. What saved Tennessee's bacon was the fact it hit 86% from the free-throw line, knocking down 25-of-29 attempts with 37 rebounds, while forcing 21 turnovers.
