Straight Up - SU, Against the Spread - ATS, Over-Under (O/U)

  • SU: 19-3
  • ATS: 12-9-1
  • O/U: 12-9-1

The big news for the Bears is that they have two key players nursing injuries. Leading scorer L.J. Cryer (foot) has missed the past two games due to a foot injury, and he is questionable for this one. Adam Flagler (knee) is also a question mark, and he missed the West Virginia game.

Baylor has covered seven of the past eight games as an underdog, while going 6-1 ATS in the past seven as a road 'dog. In addition, they're 16-6-1 ATS in the past 23 games following a straight-up win, while cashing in seven of the past 10 appearances on Saturdays.

For totals, the OVER is 4-1-1 in the past six games on the road, while going 19-7 in the past 26 games as an underdog. The OVER is also 11-5 in the past 16 as a road 'dog, too.

BAYLOR BEARS VS. KANSAS JAYHAWKS BETTING CONCLUSION

This is a clash between, easily, the two top Big 12 teams, although some in Austin, Fort Worth or Lubbock might have something to say about that. I also think that these teams have the ability to win the whole tamale in the NCAA Tournament. We'll find out a lot about these two teams in the next two weeks or so, especially after this game.

I like Kansas at home, even though it has really struggled against the number lately. Still, Baylor has some injury concerns, and if it isn't at full staff for this one, it isn't going to end well. Look for the Jayhawks to win Round 1, with the Bears likely getting revenge next time these teams faced each other on Feb. 26.
